Supervisor Kathryn Barger will host the 20^th Annual “Tribute to Veterans and Military Families” event this Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A Memorial Day tribute will be held at 11:00 a.m. which includes recognition of the 50^th anniversary of the Vietnam War and Department of Defense pinning ceremony for Vietnam veterans in the community. The family event will showcase veteran talent, military history, resources and opportunities for veterans and wellness programs.

Highlights include skydivers, a performance by the 40^th Infantry Division Army Band, military vehicles and equipment displays, a children’s area, free manicures and haircuts, “Rock for Vets” music therapy band, on-site job interviews for veterans, and a food court featuring food trucks.
