On Sunday, March 4, Union Rescue Mission hosted their annual Hearts for Hope Gala to raise funds and awareness for their efforts to combat homelessness. For over 125 years, Union Rescue Mission has provided those in need with supportive services to break the cycle of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency. Every year, they serve over 1 million meals, provide 250,000 nights of shelter, host 15,000 health and legal clinical sessions, and celebrate the graduation of 85 formerly homeless individuals.
