I want to share about two important upcoming events in 2020.
On March 24, I will be introducing my annual motion to declare the month of April as Armenian History Month. This meeting will kick off a month of honoring noteworthy Armenian-Americans who have made significant contributions to our communities and the region.
Also, please save the date for April 21, which will serve as our Day of Remembrance for the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1923 at the Board of Supervisors meeting. The presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 West Temple Street, Room 381B (Board Hearing Room), Los Angeles, CA 90012.
