Supervisor Kathryn Barger hosted a summit for the cities and communities of the 5th District to discuss the opportunities created by the passage of Measure A in November. The “Safe, Clean Neighborhood Parks and Beaches Protection Measure” was overwhelmingly approved by voters will generate approximately $94 million per year.
“I strongly believe that parks improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods, as well as the physical and mental health of our constituents,” said Supervisor Barger. “That’s why I would like to see more parks being refurbished and developed to serve the residents of this county.”
