On Wednesday, March 1, Supervisor Kathryn Barger addressed the Quartz Hill Chamber of Commerce about all of the exciting developments happening in the Antelope Valley.

The passage of Measure M in November will result in transportation projects totaling nearly $80 billion in economic output and will generate over 465,000 jobs. These projects will include improvements for light and heavy rail lines, construction of rapid bus lines, and highway and freeway improvements. In the Antelope Valley, improvements will include the High Desert Corridor Project, street and bridge widenings, and enhanced Metrolink rail stations.

The Quartz Hill Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1948, has a rich and impressive history promoting business interests and civic engagement in the Antelope Valley.
