Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger issued the following statement today following FEMA’s announcement of additional Disaster Case Management funding to continue recovery services for survivors of the 2025 Los Angeles County wildfires:
“I welcome FEMA’s approval of additional funding for disaster case management for Los Angeles County. Once received, this funding will allow thousands of Eaton Fire survivors to continue receiving the personalized support they need as they navigate the complicated road to recovery. Having someone help them work through housing, insurance, rebuilding, and other recovery challenges can make a meaningful difference. I thank the Trump Administration and FEMA for recognizing that survivors’ needs continue. I hope that this funding will be accessible locally as soon as possible, so Eaton Fire survivors continue accessing this critical support system.”
