Supervisors Kathryn Barger and Sheila Kuehl participated in a panel hosted by the Mount St. Mary’s University Center for the Advancement of Women about what it takes for women to run for office and govern.
The program focused on the election process and provides opportunities for women interested in politics to gain experience about the political process. To date, it has trained hundreds of women to run for office, seek appointed positions, and manage campaigns.
