Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Kathryn Barger is encouraging Altadena residents impacted by the Eaton Fire to participate in the upcoming “Preapproved Plans: A Headstart for Homeowners” virtual workshop on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Hosted via Zoom, the free workshop will feature representatives from Los Angeles County, the Foothill Catalog, and the Sunset Mesa Collective, who will provide innovative rebuilding strategies for wildfire-affected neighborhoods.
“This workshop is a vital step toward empowering our residents to rebuild their homes and communities with greater ease,” said Supervisor Kathryn Barger.
“By streamlining the permitting process and offering preapproved plans, our County is working hard to cut red tape and accelerating recovery. I encourage every homeowner impacted by the Eaton Fire to take part and learn how these resources can support their rebuilding journey in Altadena and beyond.”
